Ingredients
FOR 2 BURGERS
FOR THE BUN
2 Potato Buns Roundy Bread
5" — 75 g
FOR THE PATTY
2 × 70 g ground beef
20% fat
Salt
Pepper
FOR THE TOPPING
2 slices of cheddar
Pickles
Yellow onion, thinly sliced
FOR THE SAUCE
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp mustard
1 pinch of paprika
01 — Prepare the sauce
Mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and paprika. Set aside in the fridge.
02 — Form the meat balls
Shape 2 balls of 70 g ground beef without compacting them too much. Season with salt and pepper.
03 — Smash the patties
Heat a skillet or griddle over high heat. Place a meat ball on it and press it down firmly with a spatula to make a very thin patty.
Cook for about 1 to 2 minutes, until nicely caramelized.
04 — Add the cheddar
Flip the patty and place a slice of cheddar on top. Continue cooking for about 1 minute.
05 — Toast the buns
Toast the Potato Buns Roundy Bread cut-side down in a skillet with a little butter, until nicely golden.
06 — Assemble the burger
Spread the sauce on the bun. Add the patty and cheddar, then the pickles and onion.
Close the burger and serve immediately.
